SEP school calendar: why there will be no classes on March 25
After children in basic education, that is, preschool, primary and secondary school students enjoyed their mega-bridge of more than three days last weekend, they will also be able to enjoy a long weekend during this month.
According to the school calendar governed by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), students will not have classes next Friday and we will then announce the reason for that break.
Another good news for children is that during the second week of April they will be able to enjoy the Easter holiday period, which is granted every year to students on the occasion of religious celebrations in various parts of the country.
When does the second bridge of March start?
The next bridge that will be able to take only basic education students, will begin this week. And it is that the dates that will be considered are:
-Friday, March 25: will be granted due to the traditional meeting of the School Technical Council.
-Later it will meet with Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27 of the same month.
After a couple of more weeks and according to the schedule of rest dates carried out by the SEP, students will be able to take their holidays.
When does the Easter holidays start?
-The vacation period will be considered from Monday, April 11 and until Friday, April 22 of the same month. Therefore, teachers and students must return to their classes until Monday, April 25.
The month of April will be closed with a bridge, due to the meeting of the School Technical Council, which will be held from Friday, April 29. Although May will also open with a break for the commemoration of the Battle of Puebla (Thursday, May 5).
It should be remembered that the SEP school calendar has several celebrations and rest dates for minors.
The days that students will still be able to rest are:
March
-Friday, March 25.- CTE Board.
April
-Easter Holidays.- They will be taken from Monday 11 April to Friday 22 of the same month.
-Friday 29.- CTE Board.
May
-Thursday, May 5th. – Battle of Puebla.
-Friday 27.- CTE meeting.
June
-Friday 17.- Administrative discharge.
-Friday 24.- CTE Board.
Julio
-Friday, July 29, 2022 starts the Summer Vacation. Its conclusion will be announced until the official publication of the next school calendar 2022-2023 (20 days of vacation).
While the end of the 2021-2022 school year will end on Thursday, July 28.
To date, millions of students take face-to-face classes, as schools resumed their activities, after returning to classrooms was authorized for staying at the green light and due to the improvement in the numbers for COVID-19 infections.
Both minors and educational institutions must follow the established health protocols to avoid contagion, such as: mandatory use of masks, healthy distance, preferably outdoor activities, frequent hand washing or application of antibacterial gel.
