Gerry Turner proposed to Theresa Nist during The Golden Bachelor finale on November 30 and in just two weeks, they’ll be saying “I do” with all of Bachelor Nation tuning in at home.
Gerry, 72, tugged on the heartstrings of 13.9 million viewers when the show first aired, according to The Hollywood Reporter. His first one-on-one date with Theresa, 70, was a sweet moment that put their instant connection on display. They shared that they were both married previously and lost their spouses after over 40 years of marriage.
The Golden Bachelor Instagram account relived the magic of their relationship with this cute reel.
“Theresa since Date 1 🌹,” the caption says.
Now, Gerry and Theresa will be walking down the aisle, both for the second time…live on ABC! The wedding is happening quickly, but they don’t want to waste any time. “As quickly as we can put together a wedding plan, we’re getting married!,” he explained on the After The Final Rose special.

Save the date! The Golden Wedding is on Thursday January 4, 2024 at 8 p.m. ET., on ABC and all Bachelor fans are invited to watch live.
The Golden Bachelor Instagram account posted a golden wedding invitation. The caption reads: “You are cordially invited to the first wedding in #TheGoldenBachelor history! Save the date: January 4 ❤️”
Where is the Golden Wedding?
The location of the wedding is understandably under wraps. But, Reality Steve provided some hints about where the wedding could be taking place.
Steve shared that Gerry and Theresa were seen on a tour of the La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, California. He posted two pictures of the couple on X (formerly Twitter) as they walked around the venue. In the caption he wrote: “this is where their live wedding will be taking place.”

Jesse Palmer will be the host of Theresa and Gerry’s wedding. There’s no word yet on who will be officiating.
