UPAWS now taking submissions for the 2025 Pet Calendar Contest
GWINN, Mich. (WJMN) – Do you want to show off your photogenic pet? Submissions are now open for the UPAWS 2025 Pet Photo Calendar Contest.
Grab the best picture of your fuzzy, scaly, or even slimy pets and submit them to the contest before June 30th. It is $10 to enter your pet’s photo into the contest and voting will begin on the first of July.
“The funds that are raised go directly to the care of the animals here at the shelter,” said Ann Brownell, the Pet Calendar Fundraising Chair at UPAWS. “All of the vets care, which is very expensive, food, any sort of medicine they may need, and helping them find homes, which is the purpose of our mission. And so all of those funds go right to the animals to help them find loving homes is the bottom line.”
If you aren’t competitive, but still want your handsome pet featured in the 2025 UPAWS Calendar, you can reserve a day for your pet to be featured with a $15 donation. You can celebrate your pet’s adoption day, birthday, or any other special day.
