2025 Formula E calendar
Season 11 of Formula E introduces a new GEN3 Evo race car, capable of 0-60mph in an explosive 1.82 seconds. Teams can get to grips with the cars over the course of pre-season testing, taking place in Valencia from the 4th-7th November. From there, all eyes will firmly be fixed on São Paulo – the first time the city has hosted the opening race.
Mexico City’s ever popular Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez hosts race two in January, before the Formula E circus heads over to Saudi Arabia, and the new track location in Diriyah for the first double-header of the season. Then, it’s back over to the Americas, specifically the state of Florida where the Miami E-Prix returns, having hosted Formula E’s inaugural race in the US in 2015.
May promises three double-headers, starting with Monaco, which is holding two races for the first time. Then to Tokyo which, after its successful 2024 debut, gets to enjoy an extra race in 2025, and finally to Shanghai at the end of the month. Jakarta then makes its return to the calendar after missing last year.
The 11th Formula E season concludes in Europe, with a double-header in Berlin – the only city which the honour of having hosted a race in every season, before a new champion is crowned in London after the final two races at the end of July.
Misano is the notable absentee from last year’s calendar, and one race location scheduled for March is still to be confirmed.
