Healing Gardens: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second Sunday of the month through October, at Stone Hill Farm, 37W249 Dean St., St. Charles. Come enjoy the natural wooded setting and perennial gardens. Admission is $5 per person; $10 per family; cancer survivors are free. Donations of time/money for upkeep are welcome. The Healing Gardens is cultivated and hosted by Deborah Marqui, owner of Stone Hill Farm with her husband Buzz. Marqui leads day retreats, hosts Silent Saturday Mornings, and is a commissioned presenter of Centering Prayer. Grayslake Greenery Garden Club — “Grayslake in Bloom” Garden Walk: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 20, from Centennial Plaza, 147 Center St., Grayslake. Join for a self-guided tour of eight private gardens in three different Grayslake subdivisions. Throughout the tour, meet the homeowners who will share their hospitality and gardens. You can purchase tickets online at grayslakegardenclub.org/garden-walk or on the day of the walk from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Centennial Plaza. Tickets are $10; accompanied children, ages 11 and younger, are free. Those who purchase a ticket will be included in a drawing for prizes plus, on the day of the walk, the ticket can be used to enjoy special local offers.
