Important dates for 2023-2024 NYC Catholic elementary school calendar

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — It’s time for Catholic elementary school students in New York City to get ready for the new school year.

The Archdiocese of New York Superintendent of Schools released the 2023-2024 calendar for Catholic elementary school students on Staten Island.

Thursday, Sept. 7, is the first full day for Catholic school students on Staten Island. For those students entering eighth grade, the Test for Admission to Catholic High Schools (TACHS) will be given Friday, Nov. 3.

This is a generic, systemwide calendar. Check your school’s calendar for all school-specific dates.
