Court intervenes as workers clash during CFMEU strike
CPB Contractors has been granted urgent court orders to stop the CFMEU’s allegedly unlawful behaviour on Queensland’s largest infrastructure site after allegations of locked gates, blockades and worker intimidation.
The principal contractor on the $7 billion Cross River Rail project was in the Federal Court on Wednesday afternoon for an injunction after footage emerged of brawls and punch-ups between construction workers at picket lines that blocked workers from entering the site during a CFMEU strike.
